Is it any of our business how other people live? Do we have a responsibility for the choices people make or the circumstances they find themselves in?

There was a time when just about everyone attended on Sunday mornings, but those days are gone and what’s left for many people isn’t much more than a faded memory or worse. But we’re here this morning, so there must be something to all of this, right?

Every one of us has our own idea of what it means to live ‘the good life,’ but where do these ideas come from, and how ‘good’ are they at the end of the day? Let’s take a look at how we tend to think about the good life and how willing (or unwilling) we are to consider a different vision.

Between Seasons

Here in Ontario we are privileged to enjoy 4 distinct seasons.  The transitions from one to the other sometimes feel like seasons in themselves.  Life often contains those times of transition, as we move from one stage of life to the other.  Navigating those transitions, and experiencing God’s goodness throughout, can be among life’s greatest joys and challenges.  Let’s reflect on some of Scripture’s insights for navigating life’s transitions.
